Waconia Wrestling

Registration for WHS Winter Sports is open for the 2022-23 School Year. See the information below on how to register. All information is posted on the WHS Activities page here: https://www.waconiaactivities.org/. The Waconia High School Wrestling Program is eligible for all students 7th-12th grade (pending MSHSL eligibility rules). Program and competition opportunities include competition across the local middle school meet circuit, JV/Varsity invitationals and JV/Varsity Dual meets. The 2022-23 season and practices begin on Monday, November 21st and ends the weekend of the MSHSL State Tournament (March 2nd-4th, 2023).  Prior to the season start, a WHS Winter Activities/Sports meeting will be scheduled and shared on the Waconia Activities website. At this meeting, a breakout session for wrestling will also take place to go over expectations for the season, the schedule and any other questions.

The Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) requires each district to have a signed copy of a MSHSL sports physical on file for every 7th -12th grade athlete.  Athletic physicals are valid for 3 years.  If you need to submit an updated sports physical, you can do so as part of the online registration process.
