Biography

I was born and raised in New Hampton, Iowa. I received my Teaching degree and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Iowa State University.  I then received a master’s in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in St. Paul.

I moved to Minnesota with my wife, Lindsay, in the summer of 2012. I have been teaching high school math and coaching Football, Wrestling, and Track from the start. Lindsay is a local area girl, growing up in Carver County and attended Mayer Lutheran High School. We live in Waconia and have two daughters, Norah and Harper.  Waconia has become home for our family, and we appreciate all that it has to offer. The wrestling community opened its arms to us when we moved here, and the guidance and friendships gained through all of these interactions are so greatly appreciated. It is the people that make this program successful and we are glad we get to be a part of it.
